Percy walked into the emberclaw house and knocked on her dorm door. After a being in the underworld for so long, it felt good to be back in the open. He asked annabeth out actually while they were in the underworld! It was right infront of Rin to! Percy laughed at the thought. Some emberclaw students glared at him when he just randomly laughed. But he didn't care. Percy checked his shield/watch. It was a watch that turned into a shield. Luckily, it could still tell time!

Annabeth opened her door to Percy. She smiled at him, "I'm all ready to go!" she was wearing a fitted shirt and a skirt, with leggings, because it was cold outside. "So where are we going?" she asked him.

Percy was surprised on Annabeths outfit! It looked good but he never expected her to dress up! He felt bad because he was just in the usual jeans and sweat shirt. "you look nice!" he said. "I was thinking mellow mushroom because I was really craving pizza! But we can go somewhere else if you want!" he was so nervous but was trying hard not to show it.

"That's sounds good" she smiled. She could be girly when she wanted to. She was scared of spiders, that was pretty girlie. She giggled to herself at the thought. "Pizza always sounds good. Unless you eat it way to much"

Percy laughed. "oh yes. But other wise it's really good!" they walked out of the emberclaw house onto the sidewalk. "I thought walking might take to long so I brought a little surprise..." Percy whistled and a black pegasi came flying through the clouds.

'you called master!' black jack said through percys thoughts. Since percys dad was Poseidon, Percy could understand horses. Black jack landed next to Percy and annabeth. He nuzzled them both.

She walked outside the emberclaw house with Percy. She saw the black pegasus. "Aww, Blackjack! I haven't seen him in forever!" she petted the horse on the muzzle. "This was a nice surprise!" she said to Percy.

Percy smiled. He knew she would like a visit from black jack. Percy hopped on and then helped annabeth on. "hold on tight! Black jack can be a bit stubborn! No effence buddy!" Percy laughed.

'none taken master! And nice date!' black jack whinnied. It must of been his way of laughing... Percy was glad annabeth couldn't understand what black jack said because he could sometimes be embarrassing!

"Alright" she said, "But what do I hold on to?" she asked as she cocked her head.

Percy smiled. He put her arms around his waist. "just hold on tight and enjoy the ride!" Percy gave black jack a slight tug of the rains and he shot skyward. Riding a pegusus wasn't scary or hard. It was quite simple. They rode through the night sky. Black jack made the ride fun by doing twists and sharp turns.

She couldn't help but giggle. "Percy, have you ever thought of going back to camp half-blood? Sometimes I just miss it...." she said in a mellow tone as she sighed, but when Blackjack did a loop she couldn't hide the smile across her face.

"camp halfblood? I never thought about going back. I mean yeah in the summer but..." he sighed. It would be a far far flight from here! Black jack did another twist and galloped in the sky. Percy loved the feeling of the wind and the cool night sky. He was also on his guard because he was in zues' territory now. He just hoped zues didn't strike him down.

The wind blew threw her hair. When ever they landed she would surely have to straighten it out to help it not look so messy.

"trust me, I miss it to but it feels so good to be free in the world! It took black jack forever to get my thoughts. He finally heard me and came. I especially miss Grover." Percy sighed. He looked down at the ground below. He loved being in the sky but he loved the ocean more. For obvious reasons. He stared down at the nearest river. It looked like a blue snake from his view.

"Grover... I miss him alot to. I bet you miss your half-brother to, don't you?" she asked and sighed. They finally landed and she entered the mellow mushroom restaurant. It smelled like fresh pizza that just came out of the oven and fresh tomatos and peppers and cheese.
