"Youch!" Astrid said with a fake flinch, "That kinda hurt Z."
Maka blushed and looked down at the glowsticks, "You just break them and dance? What happens if you hit someone?"

"You just hold them close to you. If you're in a tight space, just hold the glowstick in your hand rather than use the strings," Hanna smiled, "It might bruise, but these things can't really kill unless they burst open and someone drinks the liquid."
As the musician stopped at the tables, he threw his fists into the air, lights sweeping over the floor. The beat hit. Zara knew this song by heart, and became lost in the song. She danced, something Astrid had never seen before, singing along to the song at the top of her voice, matching each pitch to a tee.

Astrid laughed and pulled out finger lights. Slipping them on she started dancing with Zara. Maka nodded and broke her glowsticks. Wrapping the strings around her hands she went to a clear area and started spinning them slowly. Going into more advanced motions like she was fighting with Soul.

Hanna watched, dancing on the sidelines, amazed at how beautiful Maka looked with the glowsticks illuminating her softly with the assistance of the lightshow coming from Deadmau5' booth. It was like a dream.
"Feeling the past moving in," Zara was singing, body moving fluidly in the strobing light, "Letting a new day begin..." This was just like back home. An escape from the Grid, but a memory of it on Earth.

Maka closed her eyes as she danced. Swinging the glowsticks closer to her body. Astrid smiled at Zara, the program really seemed to love this.

Zara was lost in the music, eyes shut tight, letting the lights scan over her eyelids and create colorful pictures against her eyes, body moving in time with the music. This was heaven. She almost forgot she was dancing in public. This was usually something saved for her room with her mp3 player.
Hanna blushed and started dancing nearer to Maka. This was enjoyable. Hopefully this was all going to make her happier with him.

They group kept dancing until the set ended. Astrid check a clock above the stage and slipped off her finger lights. She tapped Zara's shoulder waiting for the girl to stop dancing and singing.
Maka slowed down as the music started to lull. She opened her eyes and looked around for Hanna letting the glowsticks drop down next to her.

Hanna smiled, seeing that Maka had enjoyed herself. Hopefully tonight was going well, "Hey! You looked awesome!" He walked from the edge of the crowd over to her.
Zara stopped dancing- much to her dismay the set was over. Deadmau5 was leaving. Oh well, there went her chance to meet him. But the night was epic, and feeling Astrid tap her shoulder, she turned around smiling.

"If you want to go meet him go ahead," Astrid said, "We'll wait outside."
Maka smiled and hugged Hanna, "That was so much fun!"
Astrid made eye contact with the boy and motioned outside. They'd go get the bikes ready to go.

Hanna nodded at Astrid, "Glad you had fun, Maka." He kissed her head gently, and laughed, "I gotta go set up for part 2 with Astrid now. Have fun with Zara, okay? We'll call you when it's time to go."
Zara walked over to Maka and smiled, "That was so awesome, right?" The program was glowing, but too nervous to meet Deadmau5, so she stayed to gush about their dates, "Is today anything special for you and Hanna?"

"It's different from the last date he took me on that's for sure," Maka said with a smile. She looked around the club and giggled, "Is it fun for you?"
Astrid walked over to the bikes and checked to make sure they hadn't frosted. Thankful for her baggy camo shorts, instead of her jean ones. For one they where longer and provided more warmth. She looked up as a girl stood in front of her. 'Uh oh...' she thought silently ignoring the girl.

Zara seemed interested, "I'm having a lot of fun. What was the last date for you two like?"
Hanna walked out to Astrid, wondering who was standing near their bikes. This wasn't a good thing, was it? He didn't want anything to ruin the good time Zara and Maka seemed to be having.

"Yo Hanna," Astrid said standing up and leaning against her bike. She watched the girl out of the corner of her eye, but kept her speach aimed at the boy.
"That's great Zara," Maka said with a laugh.

"Alright, what's next, miss secret keeper? Can't keep the girls waiting too long," Hanna laughed, walking closer.
Zara paused. The girl didn't answer her question. Was Maka not happy or something? She was much nicer at the dance....

"Oh right our last date," Maka said with a slight laugh, "Sorry I blanked. We went out to dinner, went to a park, and then a really special spot for desert."
Astrid smirked at Hanna, "Still my secret. Though we do heen to find some fireworks. If you know where to get some."
