"Oh dear...did i touch a nerve Maka?" Medusa asked. "I only came here to ask that you let my sucessor go. Is that so bad?" She stood there for a moment. "Utau...you may preceed with your challenge if that is what you wish."
Utau smirked. "Death God or not. I wish to battle you. Death the kid, I challenge you to a battle..." she said.
"...i acce-" Utau cut off Kid's sentence
"I am not done, i wish to challenge you to a battle to the death...what do you say to that Reaper boy?" she asked with a smirk

"Don't accept Kid," Maka said, "It wont end well for you or her or Patti. Patti will die to protect you."
She spun Soul around in her hands and rested him on her soulder.
"Medusa the witch, your soul has straied from the path of good," she said, "Your soul is mine!"

Kid gulped and his gun shook in his hand. "Well...I'm waiting for an answer.." Utau said impatiently. "Or are you as bad as they say you are? Scared for your own good." she shook her head. "You really are Reaper Scum aren't you?"
Kid's eyes narrowed. "I'm a Grim Reaper...i will fight until the world is the way it should be...until it is equally balanced...Utau Hoshina...i accept your challenge." he said with a growl. "Partner or not i will fight and win.'
Medusa smirked at Maka. "Oh must everything lead to violence. I was hoping we could be friends..."

Utau smirked. "Excellent." she said. "I hope you are ready for me Reaper. I will not lose to you. I worked to hard to lose..." her fingers twitched and her eyes narrowed.
Medusa glanced at Soul and then at Maka. "Oh, so Crona is still alive? You haven't killed him yet? Shame...he really is not good at anything..."
Kid's eyes narrowed. "Are you ready Patti?" he asked. 'Be sure to look out for her moves. i think she's stronger than other students...not sure though.' he thought as he pulled out another gun.

"Crona is worth much more than you!" Maka said charging at Medusa. She ran quickly and jumped into the air swinging down at Medusa with all of her strength. She wasn't gonig to lose to her.
"We're ready!" Patti said, "Soul resonace is on stand by. Noise is at .1%."

"Right...Let's do this." Kid said running straight at the girl and firing the guns at the girl. "I am not about to lose to you." the gun shots flew towards Utau with such force that they could probably break bones.
"....Huh." Utau smirked. "You really think that will work. "Butterfly storm!" she yelled causing a typhoon of butterflies to appear before her sending some of the regular bullets away.
Medusa smirked with a smile. "Vector Arrow Storm." she said as the vector arrows flew up and knocked Maka away

Maka slashed threw the arrows flying back. She growled adn landed on a wall, using her legs to launch back at Medusa. She swung around spining Soul quickly. Helping Kid out be deflecting Utau's attack. She landed a head blow on medusa's stomach.

Medus coughed up blood and launched back. "You've gotten better Maka. but can you really beat me?" she asked and released more vector arrows.
Kid jumped back as more butterflies flew towards him. He stood up. "You okay Patti?' he asked. He gripped his arm as blood came out. 'Damn.' Kid thought. 'Those weren't normal butterflies.'

"I'm okay kid," Patti said, "But you're hurt."
"I have before!" Maka said slashing the arrows so they evaporated.

Kid rubbed his arm. "I'm fine Patti, i think." he said gulping. "But those things are strange."
Utau smirked. "So...you noticed...have you?" she asked as the butterflies flew behind her. "The butterflies behind me, have wings as sharp as knives. They can cut your flesh."
"Then i will just have to be more careful won't i?" he asked

"Soul resonance?" Patti asked hopefully. She hated that she hadn't been able to save Kid from getting hurt.

"...no...not yet Patti." Kid said. "I think i have her figured out, i just need a little more time." he said. "But i need you to change and shoot while i have move towards her. Can you do that Patti?" he asked hoping he could at least get a punch on her
