Kiki just had to touch it. She squealed as it got stuck to her furry gloves and leaped back, shaking her hand as she did so. "It's sticky!" She said, giggling as she looked at her web coated hand.

"Of course it is!" You laugh, amused by Kiki's reaction to your webbing. She was such an animated girl! "I wouldn't be able to catch the bad guys if it weren't! Or swing from building to building for that matter, either."

Kiki wiped her hand of the wall, trying to get the web off. It didn't work so she tried it again, and no luck. "Cool, catching bad guys!" Kiki smiled and forgot about the web.

"The webbing will wear off in an hour." You tell her, continuing to laugh despite yourself. This girl....such a fun change from the drama of your psyche!
To say catching bad guys was "cool?" That's something you never would have thought to call it.
"I wouldn't exactly call it...cool." You say, a smile tugging at your lips. You wonder, for a moment, how old this girl is--perhaps an explaination of her character? Or is her childish excitement simply a personality quirk? Whatever the reason it's refreshing. You almost forget about your paranoia.

"But I bet it would be easier than fighting the crazy monsters that the aliens make. Or rather fuse." Kiki looked at May, and remembered that she would probably have no idea what she meant. "Oh yeh, I'm sorta like you, I protect the planet from aliens." Kiki explained.

Now that's something you can relate to: not the team thing so much as your friends. That, aside from your web-swinging....are what you miss the most.

I mean, I agreed to go here, but probably wouldn't have if my dad hadn't been so adament about it." You pause, and despite yourself are unable to hide a knowing smirk from your face. "My dad....used to be in the hero biz, too. So he's kinda paranoid."

"I don't know." You reply, and truthfully, you don't. A lot of fathers WERE protective....but others--like Norman Osborne (senior, never Normie!), for example--were batsh*t insane. "I guess it all depends on the father. But I guess if they have powers, and their kids have powers, then ya....they're gonna be paranoid--er--overprotective. Unfortunately." You can't help but roll your eyes at that, thinking of all the time your father tried to get you to hang up your webs.
You can't help but wonder if sending you to Animated High was simply another attempt on his part to do so....

Ooh. You didn't see THAT coming. Not having a father....your thoughts flash back to April--may she rest in peace--for a moment, but you shake yourself out of it. Kiki does't seem too bothered by it....so why should you?
