Hanna whimpered, "Merry Christmas." He burried his face into his hands and started crying again.

"Hanna?" Maka said worried about him as she launched herself over the couch to sit next to him on the floor.
She rubbed his back, "Hey Hanna? What's wrong?"

Hanna just kept crying, pointing her to the line in his journal i've never had a happy christmas. It was true. He had no family. His friends always left for their families, no matter how bad. He had always been alone. He knew Maka left to find Soul, which made him feel like even his girlfriend didn't want to spend Christmas with him.

Hanna took a few deep breaths, "Always... alone...." He rubbed his eyes, "Never celebrated Christmas..." As he said his last few words, he burst into more tears, "You.. left to find Soul.... He's cooler.... Better.. Christmas."

"Hey whoa Hanna deep breath okay?" Maka said, "Yeah I went to find Soul, he was suppose to hang out with me today and fight Kishin eggs. But hey he want's to snowboard I'm not going to bug him. I'm here with you alright? We can celebrate christmas together."

"I haven't had a Christmas since I was like...8," Hanna wiped his eyes, "Nonetheless a happy one." He was sitting up now, still wrapped up in his blankets.

Maka sighed and wiped snow out of her hair, "I guess you're right."
She looked out the window and frowned. She never did anything right around Hanna.

"Don't blame yourself," Hanna stated, rather deadpan, "It's not you, really. It's just... I don't like him that much. He's a jerk to you. You deserve a lot better friends. I know he's your weapon and you two are strong together and have that bond, but he's still a jerk. Plus he sorta ruins my happy by being rude to me when I'm just trying to help or be nice."
Hanna glanced over, "You're never to blame. You're wonderful."

"Well I hate to tell you this Hanna but," Maka said looking out the window sounding slightly dead herself, "Soul's gonig to be around a lot and it be alot easier for all of us if you two would paly nice."
