"Good Night Kago," Midori said frowning slightly, "Won't you need light?"
She kept the flame going for a bit, she knew her hair glowed but she'd rather Kago not know about that.

"Nah, my eyes can adjust. Thanks anyway though. Just get some sleep for now." he said with a smile, though it was probably tough to see with so little light

"Alright," Midori said quietly. She snuffed out the flame and leaned against the wall. Closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep.

Kago let his eyes adjust as he thought over this crazy maze. Soon enough, he fell asleep next to Midori. The next morning he was up and nudged her awake.
"Hey, Midori. Wake up, it's morning." he said quietly

"nnn," Midori muttered sitting up and rubbing at her eyes.
She looked around and leaned against Kago, "See a way out?"

Kago looked around a couple times and noticed a light coming down from a little far off. Was it the trap door? How'd it get back to normal?
"Yeah, looks like the trap door's over there." he pointed

"Alright let's get out of here then," Midori said pushing herself up.
She smiled at Kago and held out her hand, hopping he was just as eger to leave as she was.

"Yeah." he said with a smile. As they walked out the sun stung his eyes some since he'd been in the dark for hours. But he was grateful to be out.
"Oh thank god, it's the sun. I missed it." he joked

Kago followed behind her, thinking about what was going on today.
"Hey, isn't the New Year's Eve party tonight?" he asked, looking over at her. He was hoping he could meet up with her, maybe do some dancing.
