Maka sat in the Emberclaw house, reading a book as usual. She tired to remember what had happened at the dance but everything came as a blur. She knew it had something to do with a fight and Soul...possible Hanna as well. She sighed turning the page of her book.
'I guess I am a lightweight,' she thought.
Soul had tried to help her by wasting her energy she knew that much by the way her arms and legs felt. She growled in fustration and not really being able to move because she was still pretty much out of commision.

Soul walked in and looked around the room. He'd barely been in this part of the House, and that was when he walked through it. But this wasn't the time to sight see, he needed to find Maka. He was already starting to flunk his classes, and he'd need some tutoring from her. Since she liked to read a lot, a place like this was his best bet to find her in. Sure enough, she was on the couch.
"Maka, what's up?" he asked as he walked over

"Oh hey Soul," Maka said with a small smile, "Just reading."
She was laying across the couch so when Soul moved to sit down he picked up her legs, sat down, and placed them on his lap.
"What's up with you?" she asked raising and eyebrow and closing her book.

"Not much. I actually came to ask if you'd tutor me for my classes." he said, getting straight to the point

Maka smiled and nodded, "Alright Soul what are your classes?"
She sat up and put her book on the coffee table, her legs still over Soul's.

Maka still had her legs on him? Soul didn't mind it the first time, he put them there. But now she was doing it by choice. Well, whatever.
"Spanish, Biology, Gym, AP History, Music, then free period. So I need some help in Spanish Bio, and AP History." he said

She picked up a really thick stack of papers, "Thats my report for AP History."

Soul's mouth dropped at the size of that stack. Then he thought about it...they had a report? He'd barely been in that class since he didn't want to be seen as some nerd taking AP classes.
"Yeah...right...the report...I've been doing that all along..." Soul lied through his teeth
