Maka finally drifted into a dreamless sleep.

Hanna woke up before Maka did the next day, and decided rather than move to just hold her and watch the fire burn.

Maka awoke slightly disorentated. Looking around she realised she was still leaning against Hanna.
"M-morning," she said.

"Hey there," He rubbed her shoulder for warmth, "How are you?"

"I told you I'd be fine," she said sitting up and stretching her arms up.

A wave of relief ran through Hanna as he let her stretch. Once she was done he leaned over to kiss her cheek, "Like I said. I'm glad."

Maka blushed and kissed his cheek back, "So Mr. Cross, you up for a little training?"
She jumped off the couch and spun to face him.

"Alright, let's go." Hanna lead the way, overexcited.

Once in the courtyard Maka started showing Hanna most of her tricks. Most of which consisted of swinging the sythe around her body at alarming speeds. She did nick herself a few times, but it was hardly anything compared to what she normally got in battles.

Maka smiled and made a swing at him, stopping the blade right infront of his neck.
"Sorry couldn't resist," she said with a smile before putting the blade on the ground and leaning on the staff part ever so lightly.
