Midori sat in the courtyard feeling lost and slightly out of her element. Kevin had vanished along with Kago. Maka was busy, Blue Star was working, and most of her friends from DWMA were MIA. Sighing she pulled her knees to her chest, there wasn't much hope in this place for her to make more friends. She wasn't very social, so it was a suprize she had them in the first place. Hearing footsteps, the green haired girl jumped and lit her hands on fire.
"W-who's there?" she asked.

Kevin walked in the courtyard when he heard a familiar voice. It was Midori. He couldn't even remember the last time he saw her. He had been busy training with Blue Star on controlling his powers. His fire issue was basically now under control thankfully. To Midori's question he replied, "Just an old friend" as he stepped closer to her and gave her a small smiled.

Midori smiled brightly and unlit her hands, "kevin!"
She blushed slightly before giving him a quick hug.

Kevin smiled bigger and gave the girl a hug.
"Long time no see! How have you been?" he asked her.

"I've been good," Midori said tucking sme of her hair behind her ear, "what about you?"
She seemed nervious to herself. She felt her blood starting to warm up to an unusually high temperature, even for her.

"Thats good" he listened then replied to her question.
"I've been training with Blue Star. I've gotten pretty far at controlling my powers. But I started to miss my friends" he said.

Kevin laughed along with her.
"See no more gloves!" he held up and showed her his hands that had no gloves on them anymore.

"That's great kevin!" Midori said with a smile, "better with fire too?"
That question always seemed like a taboo between these two. She moved her hands behind her back and smiled softly.

"Just studying and going to class really," she said, "I'm trying some new things to work on my powers with out kago."

"Where did Kago go?" he sounded a little bit happier.
He had only met the guy once but he just didn't really like him.
