Esme stared at the unicorn, shocked, for a moment then said, "Well I suppose I have no choice but to believe you, and apologize..." She took a deep breath, apologizing wasn't exactly something she liked to do but she owed it to her dear brother, then continued, "I'm sorry for doubting your sanity and abilities and accusing you of lying to me. Please forgive me."
She now turned to the unicorn and said "Hello indeed. My brother has told me that you gave him magical powers." Pausing to try and contain her anger she continued through clenched teeth, if she had teeth, "You do realize that in doing so you have made him immortal, which means that, while he remains ever youthful, I would have grown old and died!Have you any idea how horrible it is to watch everyone you know and love wither and die while you can do nothing about it, and then be left with the knowledge that you can't even be reunited with them in death?"

Crap. Puck knew he was forgetting something that the girl would have to be upset about. Of course she would have to be upset about her brother living forever; after all, he'd have to grow older and watch her...die. It was something he didn't like to think about when referring to his brothers, after all. It wasn't much of a surprise that she was upset.
"Now hold on a second," Puck said slowly, holding out his hands in front of him. "Don't blame Bob, it wasn't entirely his fault. And, while I don't know how you figured that out...yes, both of us were granted immortality along with our magic. Neither of us knew it would happen, but there were reasons behind it. Magic, fate, and uh...a sadistic version of Willy Wonka," Puck added, saying the last part a bit under his breath.

While Esme had been talking it seemed like something solid had been filling in the spaces between the flowers that made up her body and they began to move more slowly. In fact, it seemed that the angrier she became, for by now she was glaring at Puck and becoming more furious with every word that was spoken, the more solid and human looking she became until she became so livid an explosion seemed to occur from within her, extending outward, with a white brightness like lightning and an enormous sound like that of a tornado. And in an instant it was gone and there stood Esmeralda the Gypsy human, not the sprite that Puck had first met.
Esme seemed to take no notice of this because she immediately, and instantaneously, slapped Puck and Clopin and began yelling at them furiously, "You imbeciles! Have you any idea how much it would have hurt me to know that I would have grown old and died if... How could you have done that to me and chosen not to tell me? Did you ever think that I might have needed to know that little bit of information if..."
By now she had become so overcome with emotion that tears began to stream down her cheeks and drop like rain onto the front of her dress and she was no longer able to make words come out of her mouth. Once she realized this she turned to leave because she did not want to show weakness in front of her brother, two persons she had just met, and an entire courtyard of strangers.

Clopin recoiled from the force of his little sister's slap. As she turned to leave, he ran out and grabbed her by the shoulder, turning her to face him. "Now listen to me, and listen to me well, Esmeralda. There is a reason why I could not tell you. I would expect you to know me better by now. You know very well that we tell each other everything. I could not tell you about my immortality, because it was only meant to be a secret between the unicorn, Puck, and I." Clopin confessed.
"Do you think I wanted to see you grow old and die? I did not choose this; Fate chose it for me." he said, with a sad look. Bob sat next to Clopin, with his head hanging low, and his ears set back in shame, as he raised his eyes slowly to Esmeralda. "I'm sorry y'all. I...I didn't mean for it to go about like this. I only did it under orders." Bob said. "Y-you see, Puck and Clopin....they're the chosen saviors of the school. That's why they couldn't tell y'all. Y'all's brother, like he said, didn't want to see you die. You were the first person he thought about before receiving his powers." Bob said, his head now between his hooves.

Facing her brother, Esme looked deep within his eyes and could see the sorrow and remorse that filled them like pools of pain, and she knew that he had only been trying to protect her. Looking at the others she saw the same pain within their hearts. Leaning against Clopin's chest she cried quietly for a moment. Then she began to speak, "I'm so sorry for the way I reacted but you see, it was because I already knew that you were immortal and it hurt me that you chose not to tell me!"

Being fairly used to such treatment, the slap didn't strike Puck as much of a shock. He did, however, take a quick step back, looking at the girl in surprise. As she collapsed onto her brother's chest with tears in her eyes, Puck's look of bewilderment increased. It wasn't so much her reaction that was shocking him; that was fairly understandable. What was confusing him was her apparent knowledge of their immortality.
"How could you have..." Puck spoke, mainly to himself as Esmeralda looked too busy to answer. He looked to Clopin with slight alarm, raising an eyebrow confusedly. If the gypsy hadn't told her, how did she know?

Clopin knew as well as Esmeralda. There was no fooling a person who could tell the color of another's aura. He turned to Puck, all while holding his sister against his chest. "Puck...Esme here has a special gift. As I'm sure you know, all of us possess some sort of aura. Mine was a light green, according to my dear sister. However, as soon as we both turned immortal, our color changed. It was my mistake for not mentioning that she can sense the color of one's aura."

Summoning her courage, she looked Clopin into his eyes and said, "I think it only right that you should know that your becoming immortal has made me immortal as well. Our fates have always been strongly intertwined, so strongly in fact, that I must live if you live, and I must die if you die. I sensed this long ago but did not know how extensive it was until that happened to you, and therefore happened to me. We are truly a part of each other."

Puck's eyes widened as they darted in between both brother and sister, eyebrow's raising in confusion and surprise. So, not only could the girl read "auras"...whatever those were, she was immortal as well due to some strange link shared with Clopin? It was a bit strange sounding to the fae, but at the same time...he was a little jealous. Why couldn't his brothers have been granted immortality as well? Though he would never have wished this on himself, it was a bit unfair in his opinion that he couldn't have his brothers around with him forever, be it a selfish request or not.
"So you're...immortal now as well?" Puck said after a moment. Growing silent for a moment, Puck finally said, "It seems like our actions keep effecting others somehow."

"Yes, I am. And yes, every action affects someone else, even if you don't know it. That's why you should be more careful from now on, the both of you.", she said firmly, glancing between Puck and Clopin. Then she realized that the whole courtyard was staring at them so she added, "I think it would be wise if we took the rest of this conversation indoors.", and turned on her heels to leave.

Puck turned to look around them a bit sheepishly, trying to ignore the stares they seemed to be getting. Given that this was a bit of a hush-hush conversation, he turned to look at Clopin a bit uncertainly. He wasn't sure how the gypsy was really taking what had just been said to them, but he assumed that it wouldn't have been well.
"She's probably right," he said, a bit quieter now that people were observing them. "Let's get out of here, before we get any trouble. Are you...alright?"
