"Oh?" Puck glanced over his shoulder, smirking innocently. Fully facing the Trickster now, Puck stretched his arms above his head, as though rising from a deep sleep. Suddenly, in a quick, solid movement, Puck swung his arms forward and shot forth a burst of green light. He knew that the man would most likely avoid the blast quite easily, but it was how he always liked to start things off. And, it always helped to ready his magic fingers for their future use.

Trickster dodged the light with ease but he knew puck was ready so he got his wand out and got a slightly bigger ball of light to not attack him but know that trickster meant damn good business. He then flipped and then sent one more ball this one was to attack while the other was to distract

Puck quickly moved out of the way of the first bolt of light, not noticing the next one that came flying his way until it was nearly too late. Jumping out of range, Puck gritted his teeth as he felt the magic strike his side, knocking him sideways in the air momentarily. It had hurt, but it was not enough to slow him down.
"You'll pay for that," Puck growled, eyes faintly glowing. Suddenly, Puck began to mutter a small spell beneath his breath, casting his magic upon a small flower at the Trickster's feet. Before he knew it, the flower had sprouted several thick feet in the air, moving to coil around the Trickster as it began to move on its own.

Trickster struggled under the flower's power and then he blasted and the flowers stem imploded and then trickster smirked sarcastically "Would you prefer an I owe you?" The trickster waved his hands in smooth gestures to make the flower turn into tough rope and it coiled around puck instead

Puck's anger fumed as the Trickster turned the tables on him, wrapping him into a tight bind of rope. Struggling against it's hold, Puck growled through gritted teeth, "You...will...never...own me!"
At last freeing one of his hands, Puck destroyed a fragment of the rope with his magic, freeing himself from the coils. The boy's pride had been hurt now, and he was ready to fight even harder. Puck knew he'd have to come up with something especially creative now. Perhaps he could use something against the Trickster...maybe something from his past? Suddenly, an idea came to Puck's mind, and even though it was unlikely to work, it was worth a shot. Creating a large crowd of smoke, Puck quickly changed his looks, making himself appear like a woman. But not just any woman. Puck didn't know much about the Trickster, but he'd heard he'd had a girlfriend at some point along the way. Though Puck had no idea what she looked like, he simply made a guess, making himself look like a perfect replica of a female trapeze artist. Clearing the smoke, Puck smiled behind his mask, sinking to the ground to wait for the Trickster's next move.

(OCC: Crap I meant "owe" not "own" XD)
Trickster lowered his defenses to see what was going to happen. He saw a woman standing in puck's place and it seemed quite accurate. She was thin, had a red leotard on and she had many markings on her. But trickster knew she was fake and proved his point by speaking "VERY nice try puck it was enough to fool someone but you forgot one signaficant part of her" He pointed to the womans hair which was brown and replied "My girlfriend is blond with red qualities NOT brown" He then wrapped puck up in more ropes to get him fighting again

"Damn," Puck muttered, shifting back to normal as the Trickster coiled him up once again. This time, however, Puck was prepared, and easily broke free of the ropes.
"I'm through with your petty games, Trickster!" Puck shouted angrily. "I don't even know why we're still fighting over this nonsense! But I do know one thing; even if by some shere will of luck you were to best me, I would still have beaten you in the long run! You've grown old, man. Your powers are nothing now to what I know mine will become!" Puck taunted, eyes glowing once again in angry retaliation.

Trickster's smirk changed into a scowl around that "Powers" comment. Now he felt some spark of anger went inside of him. Being old didn't matter for it meant wisdom, his games may have been petty but that was his point to mess with puck's patience, but saying that he would beat puck through luck and that his powers were "useless". THEN that's when trickster could draw the line. Puck was wrong the trickster's powers were much more powerful and now that puck said not trickster got pissed inside
Well, puck asked for it. Trickster stopped his games and simply flipped and turned in front of the fae and punched puck in the face. Hard enough to perhaps draw slight bleeding. Trickster then took the boys shirt and put him in front of him so he would be staring straight at trickster's face and he said in a angry but collected tone of voice "Well puck. You are quite wrong I have much more powers then you'll ever have. I may have been testing you but I have leathel powers and I am no coward. I can hit and hurt people without my powers and even WITH them. So you have inaccurate things to say about me"

WHAM. Puck nearly fell backwards at the unexpected hit. Clutching at his nose desperately, the trickster winced, fearing the poor thing to be broken. Damn him, damn this coward of a teacher! Puck wanted more than anything to fly at him, perhaps push him into the ground, preferably six feet under. Listening to what the Trickster had to say, Puck's anger bubbled beneath the surface, temporarily distracting the boy from the pain.
As the blood trickled through his fingers, Puck stood up straight, glaring at the man with a cool, steel gaze. "You underestimate me. I can do more than you think I can," Puck said, secretly angry that the trickster had him there. Without his powers...Puck was helpless. He hadn't even gotten them himself! They had been given to him by someone else...he always had to depend on someone else. "I am not helpless! I am worth something, father!"
Puck immediately stopped, shocked at himself. Did...did he just call the Trickster father? What did that mean? Did the Trickster remind him of Oberon? Of course he did; he was telling Puck exactly what Oberon had told him for seventeen years! Slowly, Puck started to realize just what this was all about.
This wasn't about proving who was the best trickster; this was about Puck proving himself.

Trickster was very shocked when puck suddenly called him "father" It was then that trickster realized that puck was trying to prove to trickster and himself that he was worth something. That doubt was boiled by puck's father and now trickster unattendly was reminding puck of the same torment. Trickster instantly had guilt and pity inside him but his face was unreadable as always, however he went to the boy and took his face and instantly healed puck's face from all the blood and replied to him "I never said anything about you being helpless and are worth nothing on the contrary to me you are quite capable. You have done many things no other boy can and in my honest opinion your father was always wrong" Trickster made his words completely sincere and if puck felt that what he said was fake and still wanted to fight. So be it but he made no amused smile this time he made a very solemn frown

Puck stared back at the teacher, his mouth falling open a bit in shock. The whole time he had thought the Trickster to be mocking and doubting him, it seemed that he had really thought there was something worthwhile inside him? It was enough to stun Puck into silence for the time being.
The boy had to admit, now he felt extremely foolish for his behavior. It had been both erratic and pointless, and where had it gotten him? No where. And now, the guilt and embarrassment were making themselves present on the boy's face.
"I...I know, that you didn't say that I worthless," Puck admitted, clenching his teeth together as he avoided the Trickster's gaze. "But...that's what I was hearing. Please, forgive my foolish behavior. This whole thing was my fault. I acted like a child, and a very stupid child at that. I hope that...you can still accept me as a student," Puck said, extending his hand cautiously to the older male.

Trickster nodded and replied "Puck I have behaved foolishly myself I take all responsiblity and for the record what your father says I most certainly do not agree with" He went to the boy and gently made his voice softer "I truly accept you both as a person and a student we both behaved rudely at each other and I believe that this shall teach us both something" Trickster shook the boys hand and politely replied "I truly think I should be ashamed for making this go too far"

Puck gave the other a lopsided smile, nodding in agreement with the other. "Now, there's no need for that. As I've said, this whole silly mess is truly my-" Puck stopped himself, and began to laugh. "Oh, look at us. There we are with another argument. Anyway, let's just put this whole thing behind us, hmm?"
Smiling, Puck folded his arms across his chest, floating just a little in the air again.

Trickster chuckled and nodded "Of course. We should not look back only forward" Trickster looked at the night air and commented "My word the night looks so lovely. Then again, that makes this a little random to say at a time at this" Trickster laughed slightly

Puck nodded contently, floating a little higher in the air. It truly was a nice night. One too nice to spend fighting over ridiculous things. Looking back to the trickster with a smile, Puck waved, and said, "I suppose I'll be off, then. I hope to see you again...Trickster."
Giving the man a genuine smile and a small bow of his head, Puck turned his back on the other, flying off in another direction. There were stars to see this night; no time for this frivolous nonsense. Puck was off to find a worthwhile sort of nonsense.
