"Puck!"
Damn. Puck cringed at the familiar voice from across the room, an unfamiliar drunken leer hiding amidst its high-pitched waves. Rolling his eyes with a sigh, Puck turned to see a stumbling Tinkerbell coming his way.
"Tinkerbell…what a surprise," Puck said dryly, making a face as the girl reached him. Her perfume had mostly covered up the smell of the alcohol, so Puck didn't know for certain whether or not she was drunk; but something was certainly wrong with her. And that thought was confirmed as the girl slipped an arm heavily around his shoulder.
"Isn't it, though?" She giggled, leaning against him comfortably. "Ugh, but so far, this dance has been SO boring….care to make it more interesting for me?" Pausing in her speech, Tinkerbell twirled her pointer finger suggestively in a circle against Puck's chest. The boy's eyes widened slightly, his face and ears growing nearly as red as his shirt. As usual, Tinkerbell had managed to make him very uncomfortable.

Raven's eyes grew wide at the candy asortment, she glanced over her shoulder at him. A pale blush covered her face as she looked back at the art. "It's lovely," she said curling her arms tighter around her. Even if he wanted to, Jericho couldn't stop the bright smile from shining on his face. He knew he was taking a gamble with the candy portrait, but it seemed to have paid off. But yea gods, she liked it! His over-enthusiasm drove him to take Raven by the wrists and spin her in circles around the dance hall; what remained of his reason served to keep him from kissing her flat out. It eventually occurred to his love-sick mind that the silence had reigned for too long. I'm really glad you like it.

Raven blinked and nearly yelped as he spun her around. She was truly baffeled by Jerico's actions. "Why?" Raven asked.

"I suppose the students can handle the truth on their own," Cupid said, letting Wandisimo pull him away. "My room or another closet?" He raised an eyebrow.
Anti-Cosmo pinched the bridge of his nose until he saw the annoying fairies leaving. Now he didn't have to be too on guard. He still hesitated on leaving his corner, but he decided to walk over towards the punch bowel to eat one of the snacks. He really hadn't eaten much, not that he needed to.

Because- The blond stopped himself in midsentence, clapping his hands together as a look of panic briefly flashed across his face. He hadn't meant to start that; his hands had just begun to move on their own. That scared him almost as much as the fact that he had nearly admitted to loving Raven just now.
There were a few very good reasons not to tell her he loved her. One: He knew Raven and he knew at least part of her past. She was not comfortable with people being close to her, in any way, and it was partially because of her ancestry and her demon father Trigon. Two: She wasn't just anyone to him. She was not one of the girls he would meet at a party or a coffehouse jam and adopt as his muse. He wasn't cruel with them; if they wanted to be with him, he stayed and did as long as they still wanted him. If they didn't want to be intimate, Jericho was fine with that as well. There was no good in a forced relationship. But she was not one of those women. He didn't just want to be with her for months or years; he wanted to be with her until he either died of old age or died protecting her. And rushing headlong at the dark titan to profess your love was almost certain to result in a good bop on the head and a stern reprimand in the least. Three: Although he wasn't a stranger to love and commitment, it was still a daunting thing to declare.
Raven was still staring at him, her blue eyes awash with confusion, so he forced himself to finish the sentence. Because art is to be enjoyed. And especially because it was made for you, so I'm glad you liked it.

"Actually, no, I'd rather not...at least not in the way that you're thinking," Puck said briskly, trying to back away from Tink's grasp. Tinkerbell frowned a moment, pouting, but then the sour expression was gone just as soon as it had appeared. With another flirtatious smile, Tink said, "Oh please, Puck. The least you could do is-*hiccup*-treat a lady to a dance." Puck raised an eyebrow, and was about to protest, but, glancing at Clopin quickly, sighed instead. It was better to go ahead and deal with the litle nuisance now than have to put up with her all night. "Fine. One dance, and you must promise to leave us alone for the rest of the evening." Puck winced as the girl squealed with joy, dragging him out into the middle of the floor with a stumble remaining in her step. Tossing an apologetic glance over his shoulder at the gypsy, Puck reluctantly walked after the girl. Unfortunately, the minute they'd walked out onto the floor, the music had changed to something a bit more...stimulating. Tink giggled at the recognizable lyrics, while Puck turned a deep shade of red, his eyes widening. "...Well, you know what sort of dancing this calls for, right?" Tink whispered suggestively, leaning her back towards the other as she spoke. Grabbing him by the collar, she added, "And don't try and weasel out of it. You promised me a dance, and that's what I intend to get." Puasing, she gently grinded against the other, making Puck's knees buckle in surprise. Perfect, Tink thought, smirking to herself as she continued to make Puck dance. One way or another, she would make him hers by the end of the night. ((ooc: Here's the song that's playing XD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLPHAzDMVT4&feature=BF&list=FLKjX1ayjD6vg&index=6))

Without her realizing it, her powers scattered the art in a million different directions. She clenched her hands and looked back at Jerico. "sorry," she said cursing herself, "I didn't....i didn't mean to." She liked Jerico she could feel herself wanting to admit to an emotion she didn't understand.

"sorry," she said cursing herself, "I didn't....i didn't mean to." She liked Jerico; she could feel herself wanting to admit to an emotion she didn't understand. That's alright. His shoulders shook as though laughing and he grinned. Art is never meant to last either. Admittedly, the noise the candy made as it shot off into the corners of the room did startle him. But what surprised him even more was that Raven's power had manifested themselves seperately from her will. Her emotions were what kept them under strict control, hence her detached demeanor towards the world in its entirety. For them to act out on their own could only mean that her emotions were acting up as well. The blond cut off his own train of thought, instead moving to clean up the scattered candies. He had no right to make assumptions.

Raven glanced at Jerico, she'd never really liked anyone before, beast boy being a bit of an exception. She crossed her arms and consentrated on bringing the candy back to the table. She had to resist the urge to hug Jerico. It was confusing, she lost consentration again as she noticed a couple freaking on the dance floor. Coughing she tried to cover up her blush.
"Anyways," Raven said, "I won't keep you. I'll be off now."

But if you are going to leave, His hand flashed to the candy bowl on the nearest table and offered a small candy heart to the dark titaness. He smiled gently at her. Then at least take something sweet with you.

Raven reached out and took the candy from Jerico's hand. She'd never seen anyone look that sad when she said she was leaving. They usually looked relieved to a point where she just wanted to go to her favorite dark club and listen to the poetry. Sometimes she would read her own, but mostly she kept to the shadows. She sighed and wanted to place her hand into Jerico's.
"I guess...i could stay for a bit," she said.

Clopin's eyes narrowed at Tink and Puck...the freshman especially. He knew that as soon as Tink had started to grind against the other, that would be the "breaking" point for Puck. The gypsy smirked, watching their little "dance" continue. "She doesn't know what she's up against.." Clopin mumbled to himself, as his smile grew even wider. "Up against what?" Taylor asked, stepping into place next to Clopin. He looked to her for a moment, and shook his head. "That cowlick of yours can never be tamed, can it?" Clopin asked. "Never in a million years, kid. Now what's going on?" Taylor asked, crossing her arms as she spotted Puck and Tink. "Oh..." Taylor said. Before she could open her mouth to say anything else, her mouth twisted into a malicious, toothy grin. "Hey, Trouillefou, I'll be right back." Taylor said. Clopin raised an eyebrow for a moment as he watched the brunette walk towards the drink table, and turned his attention back to Tink and Puck. After what seemed like ages, Taylor returned, running past Clopin. "Come on gypsy kid. We'll show this little freshman who can dance better." she said, dragging the other along by the hand. "TAYLOR! We've gone through this before! You know that--" Clopin was cut off as Taylor whirled around to face him. Something seemed just a bit off, and Clopin wasn't sure if it was from her OCD attack earlier or whatever was in that punch. "You want your boyfriend back or not?" Taylor asked. Clopin rolled his eyes for a moment, before nodding. "Okay then. Do what I say, and we'll be good." Taylor said, with a smirk. She then placed herself directly in front of Puck and Tink, with a small wave. "Well, if it isn't you two...you especially." Taylor said, with a fake smile towards the freshman. Taylor waved Clopin over, and the gypsy unwillingly complied as he gingerly placed his hands on Taylor's midsection, following her every move with his own body. "Taylor...what the hell are you planning to do?!" Clopin hissed into the girl's ear. "Just watch me." Taylor hissed back. Her intent wasn't to try and grind against Clopin; rather, it was to challenge Tink to see who was the better dancer, if only to distract her for the time being. As if on cue, the song switched to another upbeat tune, which assisted Taylor even more. "You're going down, kid." Taylor said to Tink, with a smirk. (OOC: Dance-off distraction ftw. XD And the song that's playing would be this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDtYkOrV4-E)

Puck, meanwhile, was beginning to feel extremely uncomfortable with what Tink was doing. Never in all his experiences with the freshman had she managed to make him this embarrassed.
Still...the little girl knew how to dance, Puck had to admit.
The junior's eyes widened at Taylor and Clopin's appearance, but before he could say or do anything, they began to dance in the same way as he and Tink. The trickster's eyes narrowed, and in response, he leaned down to whisper in Tink's ear.
"Look, I don't like you, and I really wish you didn't like me. But I am not about to be showed up by either of them. So, let's give them a performance, hmm?" With a mischievous grin, Puck took greater hold of Tinkerbell's hips, making the girl blush slightly in surprise.
Tinkerbell, in her tipsy haze, could only glare back at Taylor, nodding quickly to what Puck's had said. As she began to pick up on the lyrics to the song, another flirtatious smile came across her face, and she began to dance a bit more vigorously than before. ((ooc: XD Oh Puck, you'll do anything to save your pride, won't you? XP))

Anti-Cosmo watched the two pair of "dancers", eyebrow raised while he ate one of the cookies. At least no one around knew him personally to comment on the fact he just ate something pink. He was bored out of his mind and wished his bad luck would kick in and cause a riot. At least that would be interesting. He ignored the light zap from the collar. "Stop thinking about it, old boy," he muttered to himself.

"Oh...it's on now." Taylor mumbled, as she narrowed her eyes at Tink. Before Clopin could try doing anything, Taylor began to lean back a bit, causing Clopin to lean even further back. He could only wonder what she was attempting to do, as she was still dancing, but leaning back at the same time. "Clopin...I hope you're flexible." Taylor hissed. "I would be a madman if I said I was not flexible." Clopin said with a smirk. "Excellent. I bet those two can't even get down this low while dancing." Taylor said, as she looked over to see how the other pair was holding up.
