Nick was trying to look cool around Opal. He hated how that made him seem like his dad, but whatever. He suddenly felt something squirming around in his clothes. Not good, Dream had just bug pranked him. He had to keep calm or Opal'd laugh her head off at him.

Janelle nearly jumped back at Clopin's sudden appearance in front of her. Although he was hanging upside down in the air, he poked the tip of Janelle's nose with a playful smirk, and said, "See? I told you that we would catch up eventually."
Janelle laughed, and pushed his face away. "But like Puck said, we won't leave you out in the cold." Clopin said, letting his feet touch the ground. Looking up ahead, Janelle spotted Quin, and waved to her.
"Quin!" she shouted.

Opal's eye flicked over to look at Nick, she smirked lightly trying not to laugh at the fact his sister had just pranked him. She looked down at the little girl and winked.
"You've got a little...problem huh Nick?" she asked.

"Uh, nope. No...totally fine. Just think I'll do...this for a second." Nick said as he walked forward a bit then ejected blades from his body. It easily killed most of the bugs , and pushed any others off his body. He quickly sheathed them again and moved back to where hge was like nothing had happened.

"You killed them!" Dream said with a gasp, "You never kill them!"
Her lower lip quivered slightly. Not cool, she had to stop that.

Nick instantly felt bad. Now he made his sister sad AND he was being a basic jerk around Opal, double whammy. He bent down to look at his sister.
"I'm sorry Dream, I didn't mean to." he apologized

"Nothing much!" Janelle answered back, walking a bit closer to the girl, so that she wouldn't have to put so much strain on her voice. "So, this is the parent-student meeting, right?" Janelle asked. Clopin stood next to his daughter, not saying a word until he was asked a question.

"Not cool Nick...not cool," Dream said shoving her hands onto her pockets. She looked at the ground and and tried to stop herself rom acting like a baby.

"Shesh Nicholas," Opal said rolling her eyes, "You could have told her to get them off you. You know she could have."
Nick was an okay guy, usually when it came to his sister. Opal admired that about him.

"Well, how bout this twerpette: I'll find you some new ones myself. That way, you'll get some new bugs and I'll get some manual labor punishment for thing. Sound good?" he suggested, trying to cheer her up

Puck smiled as he watched his daughter run off towards the other student, glancing at Clopin from the corner of his eye. So this was the girl that Janelle had been talking about. She was rather cute, no doubt like at least one of her parents. Though Puck had a feeling that her mother wasn't Maka, as Janelle had said. Must have been confused with another one of these squirts, Puck thought to himself, smirking.
Stepping up next to Clopin and Jay, Puck smiled at the girl, but chose to remain quiet as Clopin was.

Nick hugged her back, then realized people might be looking and think he's a softy. He almost immediately stopped and stood back up, but gave his sister a small thumbs up. That way, she'd still be happy.

"Hello!" Quin said sticking out her hand to Puck, "I'm Quin Flash."
She smiled at him, "So you're one of Jay's dad's right?"

Dream smiled and gave him a thumbs up. He usually did that when other's where around.

Opal smirked slightly. Nick had a soft side, good to know.

Nick noticed a lot of loudness was going on across the room, and looked over. He noticed Quin and Patti, the old family friends. He didn't really like them that much, but since they were his mom and dad's friends, he couldn't really change it either.
"Check it out, it's Patti and her daughter." he pointed out to Dream and Opal
