my best friend is back!

[percy]

((ooc: this is not a date, annabeth and percy are just friends for now! haha))

Percy sat by the fountain in the courtyard. He always loved being by water because it gave him power, and he felt close to his dad. 'i wonder...' percy thought. he jumped in the fountain and sprayed water from his hands. he sprayed it all over the flowers. when he stepped out, he was completely dry. 'i never get tired of that!' he thought.

[Annabeth]

Annabeth turned the corner. Perfect, she would surprise Percy that she had come. She jumped from around the corner and looked at him, "Miss me yet?" she teased him. She noted he was by the fountain. Typical Posiden's son he was.

[percy]

"Annabeth!? you came!" Percy ran up to her and hugged her. "I didnt think you would since you have been at camp halfblood since you were 7!" Percy realized he was still hugging her and quickly let go. he blushed, hoping he didnt look as red as he felt!

[Annabeth]

She giggled as he blushed. "My dad made me leave" she pouted but then smiled because she was so happy to see Percy again. "But I'd rather be with my best friend than anything. To bad I had to leave her back at camp" She laughed, "Just kidding, you know your my best friend"

[percy]

he laughed, "yeah, only best friends call each other stuff like seaweed brain and wise girl!" he laughed at the wierd nicknames they gave each other as little 6th graders on their very first quest to find zeus' missing lightning bolt.

[Annabeth]

"You got that right, seaweed brain" she laughed more. "So, made any friends yet? I haven't met anyone. I hope to meet someone new, though." She didn't want to just have Percy, as they probably wouldn't have all their classes together. Plus, she needed a friend that was a girl for once anyway.

[percy]

"well... my roommate ike is pretty cool... i havent really had time to get to know anyone yet! i wish grover were here." percy thought about his satyr friend. they have been friends since 6th grade. grover was half goat, half human but he was an awesome friend and a great musician!

[Annabeth]

"Cool!" She looked then saw a girl come up to them with blonde hair. Althought it looked bright and it was almost yellow.

"Are you new?" Rin said to the two people she had never seen around before.

[percy]

"uhhhh yeah! im percy jackson!" percy held out his hand to shake the girls hand. she looked around ninth grade.

[Annabeth]

She didn't shake his hand, she ignored it. "And you are?" she asked the girl who then answered Annabeth. "So what are you to? Witches, part cat? What?" she asked, hoping they would ask what she was next. She was a really big bragger, but she kept on a nice face for people she wasn't close to.

[percy]

"heroes!" percy blurted out. He didn't like this girl at all. He knew she was cocky so he thought two could play at this game!

[Annabeth]

"Heroes? Gross." she laughed than starting to turn around and leave. She would win this one way or another.

Annabeth didn't like this girl anymore. "Well that was rude" she whispered to percy.

[percy]

"I know! Someone can't take what she dishes out!" Percy yelled loud enough for the girl to hear. He laughed to himself when he saw her expression. 'I sure do know how to be irritable' he thought.

[Annabeth]

"Be lucky" she smirked. "I'm actually eing nice to you. If you want me to be mean, I can, that's no problem." She laughed to herself as she turned back around to the two 'hereos.'

[percy]

"HA! You actually think we are scared of you!? I've fought plenty of things and won! We defeated the lord of the titans who could stop time all together! We almost died in the process! We have both held up the sky before to rescue the goddess Artemis from the Titan atlas! I'm not afraid of a little freshman!" Percy smother. He wasn't the type to boast but he couldn't control himself! It was like battling ares all over again
