The Infirmary

[Maka]

"You're halucinating then," Maka said rolling her eyes, "My dad is the weapon not me."
She wasn't going to tell Soul because she wasn't exactly sure of it herself. She'd been acting on reflex during that fight. Going into a status of no fear to defeat the Kishin.

[Soul]

Soul thought about it for a second then nodded, she was probably right.
"Yeah...yeah I must've been. Anyway, how ya been holding up in here?" he asked

[Maka]

"I've been slowly dying of boredom really," Maka said, "They wont let me leave...and well you know how i feel about these places."

[Soul]

"Yeah, got the same feelings towards them. Looks like you got some books though." Soul said, noticing the books scattered around her bed

[Maka]

"Yep," Maka laughed, "I'll need more soon though."
She picked up the one she'd been reading with a yawn. Everything made her tired today.

[Soul]

"Should I grab some or let him get them?" Soul asked, gesturing to Hanna with a thumb. He hadn't had any hate when he said 'him', looks like he was making progress.

[Maka]

Maka laughed and shrugged lightly, "You two can deside that."
She smirked at Soul and stuck her tounge out at him. She really had missed her partner, but he'd still ditched her.

[Tsubaki]

Tsubaki knocked on the slightly open door and pushed it open and smiled at Maka. She walked up to her so she was beside Soul. "I'm so sorry Maka, but I was talking to Lord Death and your father was there and he asked me how you were and it all came out!" She said quickly, not taking any pauses for breathing. "He's blaming it on Soul, no matter what I say. I just told him you had an accident though, that you were mucking around and you sort of fell into a mirror, so that it would explain the scratches. And he says he's sorry and to give you his love." Tsubaki laughed and shook her head. "Anyway, how are you?" She asked.

Hanna looked up at Soul and nodded, "We could both get them. Looks like Tsubaki can watch you and Soul can help me pick out some good ones." He was trying. He really was.

[Maka]

Maka smiled at Hanna, "That sounds great guys."

Maka took a second to think about waht Tsubaki had said. It would figure her dad would blame Soul, he was just jealous that no matter what Soul did she still wouldn't get mad at him. She shook her head and laughed.

"My dad just needs to get his head out of his butt," Maka said, "I don't need his love or his sympathy. I'll give him a call though. He deserves that much."

Hanna got up and waved at Soul, "Let's go get her some books so she doesn't die of boredom." He was going to try and be friendly with Soul. For his and Maka's sake. It was what was right.

[Maka]

Maka smiled at the two guys, pushing herself up into sitting possition, "If you guys can get me a mirror too that be great. I could call my dad from the window but it's a bit out of reach."

[Soul]

Soul nodded "Yeah, I'll handle grabbing one of those too. Well, let's get outta here for now Hanna." he said as he opened the door and waited

Hanna nodded and followed, leaving the two behind in the infirmary, "What's up?" Hanna tried to start some friendly conversation, especially after the large argument that made Maka break down. They needed to start fresh.

[Soul]

Soul was still wary of this guy, but fights always made tension blow over with people when it came to him. It'd worked with Kid, why not see if it did with Hanna?
"Not much I guess, been stuck in class all day until now. Even more boring without a partner there." he said
