"Oh, umm, should I leave them?" she asked. She really didn't want to, but she didn't want to but in on some people's conversation. That would be rude, and she did not want to be rude, at least not as her first impresion on people.

"If you can help," Zara shrugged. She'd do anything to make Astrid happy, "Then you can stay, I guess." The girl seemed okay.

"Alright thanks!" she smiled, sitting down. "So what do you need help with?" she asked. She might be able to help with it. Depending what 'it' was and if she had any expierience at all with whatever it was.

"My girlfriend," Zara sighed, repeating herself, "She's not really fond of Earth, even though it's her home, and I wanna show her that it's worth it to stay here while we're at school."

'Girlfriend?' she had to think a second. "Well, show her all the good things about earth, all the nature, and how some places are just so pretty, and all the fun people you can meet, and the fun things you can do with them"

"I'm not from Earth. I don't know all of the things to show her," Zara bit her lip, "I'm a program. From a digital world called The Grid. This is my first time on Earth's surface, and I love it." She was gutsy for saying that, but it was true. She had no idea what to show Astrid.

"A program? So like you kinda live inside a game? That's awesome! I used to dream of that as a kid! As for what to show her..." she took her hand and pulled her to a little garden area on the courtyard, "See look at all the pretty flowers, and the foutain! That's one awesome thing. And you can go to movies, and well, earth is a really cool place" she laughed.

"She wouldn't be impressed by little flowers," Zara sighed, "She's been on the Grid with me, and she's kinda obsessed with going back." The program bit her lip again, "I need something... big."

"hmm, first of all, what's the grid like? I've never heard of it, but with the name like that its got to be cool!" She said bringing out her ipod that could go on the internet and pulled up giant waterfalls, the gran canyon, and disney world. "Would that convince her? Maybe you could find similarities between the two places to convince her to stay?"

[zara]

"The grid is a cold dark place. Everything is illuminated by neon. It has tall buildings and vehicles that travel by light beams. But right now it's not too peaceful of a place. The programs are rising against the users, and its making it harder to be happy there as a program that likes users. But I guess because she likes to hack computers she likes that you can create anything with a little programming work."

"That must be horrible! I suggest telling her that you find out better stuff about the earth everyday, and that if she really wants to hang out with you she should stay, because It's hard for you to live in the The Grid. If she's worth it, she should understand. If not, then... I'm sorry" she said.

[zara]

"She's my everything. I'm her program," Zara smiled, "I'd do anything to make her happy." The program scooped up a flower in her hands, smiling about its color.

Kimi was still a bit confuzed about the user and programs thing, "So what exactly is a user, and a program. Sorry, most people here are all specail like aliens or something, but I'm just a normal human."

[zara]

"Users are the beings that create programs on the grid. When people like... Kevin Flynn, create video games, they are creating programs that appear on the grid," Zara smiled, "I originally was created by another program like me, but when I met Astrid, I reprogramed myself to be hers."

"Oh, I see. Me and my friends used to pretend to do things like that. I really miss them, especially lil, she was my best friend, but with her always comes phil." she laughed as she thought of them fighting with each other.
