Get Me Out

Astrid sat down in the courtyard and turned up her ipod. Listening to it she kicked her legs up so she was laying on the bench looking up at the sky. She had missed the sky during her time on the grid. Looking around she blinked, if she was stuck in this dark, dank, hell hole she might as well try to make friends. She started to sit up then just layed back down.
"It's not worth it," she muttered, "Humans are back stabers."

Maka was out with Soul again, leaving Hanna alone. It seemed a lot of his old friends from back home were disappearing from the school, so he figured it was time to try meeting new people. Of course he couldn't do that in his room, so he made way out to the courtyard of the school.

Astrid pulled out her touch screen and started reading threw the students' files. She really did know how to converse but the fact that she scared a lot of people by giving them a simple glance made it hard for her to get close to people. She sighed in fustration and chucked her ipod across the courtyard. This place sucked, school sucked, life sucked.

Hanna saw a tiny little device at his feet and picked it up. Looking in the direction it flew from, he saw a young girl on the bench, "Hey! Is this your ipod, miss?"

"Leave me here to die!" Astrid shouted.
She hated this place, right now death was so much better than being here. She looked over at the sound of a voice. He had her ipod in his hand and blinked.
"Yeah that's mine," she said sitting up with a sigh.

Hanna walked over and handed her the ipod with a smile, "You don't seem too happy to be here. You must be new." He kept his hand out in a friendly gesture, "I'm Hanna Cross!"

Astrid looked at the kid before taking her ipod and poking his hand with her finger, "Astrid Hail."
The kid was short, like really short. Astrid knew that Zara was taller than this...little boy. She looekd at him before withdrawing her finger from his palm and crossing her arms.

"Nice to meet you, Astrid!" Hanna smiled, sitting on the ground in front of her, "What brings you to AniHi?"

"My..." Astrid started to say program, but something was telling her to keep that a secret for now, "well...i guess you could say my girlfriend."
She looked down at the kid, he was weird, but hey, might as well get one friend.

Hanna nodded, "Niiiiiice." His grin looked like a pervy teenager rather than an adult male. "I could sorta say the same thing now. I originally came here to watch this hack of a doctor I knew back home, but it's turned into staying for a girl. Plus it's pretty fun here!"

Astrid looked at Hanna, dang this kid was so weird, just how old was he.
"Listen kid," Astrid said crossing her legs, "I'm just here till she has her fill of Earth then I'm outta here faster tahn you can say time jump."
She was sorta freaked out by his smile.

"I'm not a kid," Hanna pouted, before returning to his goofy self, "Fill of Earth? Is your girlfriend paranormal or something?"

[astridhail]

"Paranormal....no! Zara's perfectly normal!" astrid said a tick starting in her jaw, man this kid was a goof, "How old are you anyways?"
The kid was obviously a student so she was guessing around 15.

"25," Hanna frowned, crossing his arms and falling backwards on the ground. This Astrid girl was no fun. No fun at all. At least it was easy to get on Veser's and Conrad's nerves....

"25!?!" Astrid yelled, "F*%k!"
She stared at the kid and blinked, suddenly really interested, "You're so short!"
