Blitzwing frowned. He didn't know too much about human holidays, and frankly, he had never even heard of this "Thanksgiving".
But the way the dining hall had been decorated, or over-decorated, he might as well be an expert on it. As far as he knew, it was a holiday focused on sitting around and doing nothing but consuming human fuel. Skipping the whole thing was the way to go in his processor, and he sincerely doubted they catered to alien robots anyway.
Ah well, its not like anyone could make him attend the festivities that were to be held later on during the day.

Thanksgiving. The first Thanksgiving Helen would have with her family, or her father anyways. Well, actually, it was really the first Thanksgiving she would ever have, living in London. Americans celebrated it for something about indians or something like that. Helen really didn't pay attention to it much. But, she might as well eat some food later on today. "Why do the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving again?" she asked out of boredom.

Kiki picked at the turkey absent-mindedly. It was her first Thanksgiving away from her brothers and sisters and she couldn't help but wonder how they were doing. She finally put a tiny piece of Turkey in her mouth and groaned. It had gone cold. She pushed the plate away and placed her head on the table.

Helen decided to sit down beside Kiki. Knowing her father, he was probably grabbing a cup of tea, since she couldn't spot his hat anywhere. "So, you just grab food and eat? I'm not very familiar with this holiday, since I live in London." Helen said as she looked at Kiki. "I'm Helen by the way."

Kiki turned her head to look at Helen. "Yeh, that's what I did at least." She told her, giggling slightly. "Hey, I'm Kiki!" She looked at Helen in wonder. "What's London like?"

Clopin walked into the grandly decorated dining hall, hand in hand with Puck. "Well, the place is certainly grand." he said with a smile, turning back to Puck. "Almost like those candy-coated clouds outside." Clopin said, looking around to survey the food on the tables.

"Oh good. Now dad can't say anything about being me not acting like a lady if I eat then." Helen said, grabbing a bit of turkey. She looked back at Kiki. "What's London like? Well, it's pretty interesting. I never really get the chance to look around there, but it's a nice place to be."

Kiki sat up properly and got a bit of turkey to replace her cold piece. "I hope they don't think I'm being greedy." She joked and laughed before nibbling at the skin of the turkey. "Did you ever see the Big...Ben? Is that what it's called?"

Puck glanced at all food laid out. It looked delicious. Spotting some empty seats at a table, Puck turned back to Clopin. "How 'bout we site there?" He pointed with a shrug.

"Fine by me." Clopin said, as he looked at all the delicious food that was set out in front of them. The hall was grandly decorated, and for some odd reason, it reminded Clopin of Bob's rainbow outside. He then sat down, and motioned for the other to join him.

"I'm sure they won't. You could always say you didn't eat a meal too." Helen said as she looked at Kiki. "Yeah, I got to see Big Ben a few times. I've been trying to get my dad to let me get inside. He got to go in there once." Yeah, with Luke to find out a puzzle or something. Helen really didn't pay attention to that story, only that he went inside Big Ben.

The hall was grandly decorated, and for some odd reason, it reminded Clopin of Bob's rainbow outside. He then sat down, and motioned for the other to join him. Puck took his seat beside Clopin, still a bit nervous. He shook his head, trying to clear the shyness from his demeanor. He was quite happy at the moment, and tried to show it with a smile as he moved comfortably into the seat. "So, what are you going to eat?" Puck asked Clopin.

Clopin looked around at all the food, almost drooling at the thought of eating all of it. But he knew how to control himself, and he returned his gaze back to Puck. "I think I'll go with a bit of turkey for now, and if I'm hungry later, I'll find something else." Clopin said. "And what are you going to choose? If I recall correctly, aren't you vegetarian?" he asked.

Puck nodded to the other's question. "Yeah, meat is...ah, I'm too much of an animal person," he laughed. Looking back to the food, he smiled at the sight of some delicious looking vegetables. "I suppose just some mashed potatoes and the like," he said, standing up. "Here, why don't we go and get some foo? You look positively starving," he smirked to Clopin, noticing the hungry look in his eye.

Post by Grell Sutcliff on Nov 25, 2010 20:05:00 GMT -5
The tall figure of Grell Sutcliff sauntered into the dining hall, eying the scene of food and people that was both delicious and tempting. He looked anxiously to see if he spotted anyone that he knew, as he hated to sit alone. The wallflower look was not right for Grell, and for Grell, how you looked was always a top priority. A large smile spread over his face at the sight of one of his favorite students standing up to get food. Puck Goodfellow seemed to be in quite a good mood today. And...was he with someone? Grell looked in Puck's direction with an expression of surprise and joy. "Puck!" Grell called enthusiastically, running up to hug the boy. "Puck, honey, how are you? I didn't know that you were coming to eat today!" Puck nearly fell back with surprise at Grell's sudden embrace. "Grell, I...can't...breathe!" "Oh, sorry, Puck," Grell gave him a sheepish grin as he pulled away. "But it's wonderful to see you! And your friend," Grell smirked, glancing at Clopin from the corner of his eye. "And who would this little treasure be?" Had Puck finally found a boyfriend? Grell had known Puck to have a crush on some poor boy, and couldn't help but wonder if perhaps this was who he had been talking about.
