Naota let out a small chuckle, "Now what is there to do outside of these walls, for fun?" He said trying to test her.

"People watch. There's a karaoke place where you can sit back and enjoy howling dogs... I mean, fellow students," Daria spouted, leading Naota to the courtyard.

Naota sighed a bit, knowing what she meant, after his 'incident' he didn't want to go to school either. "So what keeps you going?" He wasn't sure if that was a personal question to ask, but he really didn't care, it's not like he had anyone else to talk to.

"I think I wanna write poems," Daria hadn't been this open to anyone except Jane. Something about this kid made her think he had potential to replace her snappy, mature artist friend, "But there's not much of a market for it out there beyond greeting cards."

"Hey, if I found a good poetry book I'd buy it in an instant." He replied to her as he sat across from her. "It's sad that its becoming a dying breed to say." He kept his glare down at the table, not wanting to see how she would react to what he had just said.

Naota looked up to her with the smile on her face. His face turn a slight red, and diverged his eyes away from her. "Yea, to bad not a lot of people see it the way we do." He said keeping his eyes directly off of her.
